Our story
Founded among friends in 2021, two league titles in a row, then the hard years. Now we're starting again in Terza Categoria.
DINAMO was founded in Florence in 2021. After lockdown a group of friends who played 7-a-side decided to do things properly and set up a real club, with the lion as our crest.
The early years flew by. In 2022/23 we won Group A of Terza Categoria, the bottom tier of Italian league football, and the following year Group H of Seconda Categoria. Along the way came sponsors, a women's team, a futsal side and more and more people around the pitch.
Then things got harder. In Prima Categoria we went down after losing the relegation play-off, and the following season, back in Seconda, was mostly about getting the club back on its feet: another relegation followed. We could have called it a day. We chose to carry on.
Now we're starting again, with new people running the club, plenty of young players and the same hunger we had on day one.

The group
Those who were here in the hard years stayed, and anyone new puts the team first. We work hard, then we enjoy it.
The pitch
We're not here to lecture anyone. We want to be an awkward team to play against: organised, tough and focused until the final whistle.
Our home
The Bartolozzi in Scandicci is where we train and where we play on Friday nights. If you want to understand who we are, come and watch a game.
